Uglies

I finished Uglies in about a week, maybe 10 days. I really thought it was a fun read. It makes you think consider what Hollywood and the Paparazzi are doing to our society, and the idea of beauty. Andrea said at book group that when she finished Uglies, she found herself running to get the next book, and I agree. When I was about 40 pages from the end I said to Steve, "there is no way they are wrapping up this story in 40 pages."

It is an easy science fiction read and would be a perfect summer beach book, since the chapters are short.
