Jana brought to my attention that the last thursday during the fall/holiday months do not work.
Here are some dates that we could try instead...please give your input.
September 24th (this is the last thursday)
October 22nd. (October has 5 thursdays so the 22nd is the 4th thursday if we want to move a bit farther away from Halloween.)
November 19th (the 3rd thursday, which would give us 4 weeks to read if we did the 22nd of October)
December 17th, 18th, 19th or 21st. (Those are the 3rd thurs, fri, sat or monday. The kids don't have school for christmas break starting on monday the 21st.)
Also we have no book to read for December, just a book exchange / book donations. Which brings up something else we need to talk about. Are we giving a new book to each other, exchanging used books, new children's book, discussing favorite children's/adult books, collecting books to donate to the women's shelter in Kaysville, etc?
